You Are Zion

You Are Zion

You are Zion, and you are My Holy Mount
To you it has been given to drink from My Fount
Embattled upon every side, girded with strength, you have learned to abide
Faith and wisdom have come side by side, signaling the turning of the tide

Between the living and the dead, paths familiar, you shall now tread
Ancient doors revealed, once formerly sealed, known by the Spirit and not the head
Steps realigned with the Divine, blueprints carried to the front line
Great stirring among the camps below, lighting of lamps called to shine

Thunders sounding, hoofs a pounding, gathering ranks for Life's great flow
Eternal Purposes hidden, horses not yet ridden, pages ready to now show
Markers being placed by unseen hands, lines once drawn now expand
Scales unbalanced and misused among man, sleeping giants arise across the land

Paths crossing as I burn, images and idols taking their turn
Separations disappear, awakened minds and hearts do learn
Streams appearing in the wilderness of men
Calling the hungry and the thirsty to enter in

Generations meet, prophecies long spoken greet
Heaven and earth joined, destinies unroll as a great sheet
My Fountain flowing, knowledge of My Glory growing
Battles escalate as I am showing, but you must rise up and get going

Time for you has stood still, you have walked upon My Hill
Partaking of Me has been your destiny, but there is more to be known of My Will
Strengthen the brethren, you are My Ranks that will stand shoulder to shoulder
You are My Rock, My House that will only grow wiser and bolder

For this purpose you were born, you are Zion, no longer scorned
Stations shall change as I rearrange, but you have been given your horn
Maturity of the Times, signal the dawning of new earthly signs
Nations realign as war sounds its cry, but all shall fit My earthly Design

Hebrews 12:
18For you have not come [as did the Israelites in the wilderness] to a [material] mountain that can be touched, [a mountain] that is ablaze with fire, and to gloom and darkness and a raging storm, 19And to the blast of a trumpet and a voice whose words make the listeners beg that nothing more be said to them. 20For they could not bear the command that was given: If even a wild animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned to death. 21In fact, so awful and terrifying was the [phenomenal] sight that Moses said, I am terrified (aghast and trembling with fear). 22But rather, you have come to Mount Zion, even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless multitudes of angels in festal gathering, 23And to the church (assembly) of the Firstborn who are registered [as citizens] in heaven, and to the God Who is Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous (the redeemed in heaven) who have been made perfect, 24And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance]. 25So see to it that you do not reject Him or refuse to listen to and heed Him Who is speaking [to you now]. For if they [the Israelites] did not escape when they refused to listen and heed Him Who warned and divinely instructed them [here] on earth [revealing with heavenly warnings His will], how much less shall we escape if we reject and turn our backs on Him Who cautions and admonishes [us] from heaven? 26Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. 27Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken--that is, of that which has been created--in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. 28Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; 29For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire.
