The Angel and the Burning Cross Vision on 07-30-13

The Angel and the Burning Cross Vision on 07-30-13

·         As we were driving home from a weeks vacation in the Adirondacks today, I was thinking, "Lord, I didn't have a visitation from you the whole trip..." and the Lord said, "I gave you a vacation."

·         A few minutes later, as we were nearing Rochester, I saw on the horizon, a huge cross rise from ground level upwards. As it rose high in the sky it went from red, to orange, to yellow, to green, and finally to blue.

·         Then, the cross burst into flames, and then I saw it change to a large communications tower sending out signals around the world. It would switch from the cross to the signal tower, back and forth, a few times.

·         Then it changed to the Lampstand. Jesus was then standing by the Lampstand and it would move over certain cities to rest there.

·         Then the last scene was the Angel of the Covenant and his head was in the clouds, and he was standing by the Lampstand and it would switch from the Lampstand to the Rainbow, and it would switch back and forth a few times. The Rainbow would flash as he stood in the sky.

The Lord then began to speak to me about the vision:

"I have brought My People out from their hard bondages by a hard path to thoroughly test their hearts and to try their ways. It was My Grace to bring them through, and I gave them 5 stages of trials, signified by the 5 colors you saw in My Cross. If My People will not pick up their Cross to follow Me, then they cannot become My Disciples, nor become My Friends. As I learned obedience through My Sufferings, so must My People, for in this path is the path of Life fully found."

"As I have now ended this phase in My dealings with My Children, I am now bringing forth a tried and chosen generation that has sought My Face and My Ways, and in whom I am pleased to call them My Friends. These ones I am now bringing into My Bosom, to hear My Voice in new deeper ways. My Voice is speaking throughout the earth, but few hear Me clearly. This will now be the deciding factor among men, those who truly know Me and hear Me, and those who don't. I am releasing a new sound in the earth, a new resonance of My Spirit that will sound forth a trumpeting voice, that will bring a separation of those that truly hear Me, from those who stand aloof from Me. I am also revealing a New Frequency that will awaken multitudes to live in My Reality."

"I am walking among men, to see who will fully enter in. I am calling My People higher unto Me. I am calling entire cities to become Clarion Sounds for Me. My Voice shall indeed be heard, and My Words shall be given in a new purity and a mighty flow. I shall anoint My People with a Clarity and an Authority that will shake cities and regions into a new synchronicity and a truer harmony with Me in the days ahead. I want a true dispensing of My Healing Bread. You see this coming, and it is now flowing in it's infancy, but it shall be growing more quickly, as I move over entire regions in Power and in Glory. You are to awaken them to their purposes and show them the way to Me. I am going to sweep My Cities in."

"My angels are positioned over the cities and the areas that have made themselves ready, and who have cried out to Me to visit them and to change them, and so I shall. I am here to awaken them this year. I have begun to unfold My Hand this summer, and I shall shake many more this fall and into the winter, My Fires shall burn higher. My Covenant is with those that fear Me. I have heard their cries, and their prayers I do not despise. I have come to reveal who I am. My House is being built by many, in many homes and churches. But now I am coming for My Mountain to be built in the Cities and Regions. I am coming to fill My House and to fill My Mountains with the knowledge of Me. Nations will flow in and out of My House and in and out of My Mountains to inquire of Me."

As I was driving and having this vision, Patrick looks over at me and says, "Do you see that rainbow?" I said, "what rainbow?" I flipped up my sun visor, as the sun was shining rightly in the sky. Right in front ahead of us in the sky was a pillar rainbow! I took 3 pictures of it with my I Phone, but by the time I got the camera, we got the edge of it. This was the same time as My Vision of the Lord and the rainbow! Pat did not know what I was seeing, but the Lord wanted me to know that what I was seeing was of Him! I love it!! The time he said it till I told him of my vision was 7:21 to 7:22 pm. I asked Pat, "what does Daniel 7:21 & 22 say?" He read it to me:

Daniel 7:21 As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them 22 Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High [God], and the time came when the saints possessed the kingdom.

The 3 pics show the angel riding the white horse over the areas that are ripe for His Awakening and Habitation!!

Revelatory Insights through 2 Visions over the last 2 days: 07-21-13

Revelatory Insights through 2 Visions over  the last 2 days:  07-21-13

Vision #1:   07-20-13:

I am standing in a room and am facing a large picture window. This window opens in the middle and opens up the whole width of the span of the window, kind of like a double door would. I am standing back about 10 feet from the window looking out of it after I entered the room. I see from a distance a black horse running very fast towards the window where I am. He is beautiful horse with patches of white on his head and nose. I see him coming, so I step up to the window and swing the double window open, and he jumps through into the room as I do. The horse was not afraid, but he was coming with a purpose. As I am about to shut the window, a terrified small spotted fawn also jumps through from the side, and I shut the window panes. As soon as I shut the window, a massive dust storm comes and it is intense, and all you can see outside is reddish dust being furiously driven by the wind. The vision ends.

The Lord is bringing fresh revelation and wider clarity to His People that are standing alert on the prayer watches (windows). He is showing us both what He is doing, and also what His People are doing. The Lord is coming to those who have been asking for His wisdom, and as the horse, He is moving with purpose towards His people. The fawn represents His people that are moving around in fear, and who are looking for a means of escape, because they do not know Gods purposes for them in this hour. The dust storms are many things, some of which can be economic, social, political unrest or upheavals, or things that come to shake us or to distract us, also misinformation or false teachings that bring confusion and fear, things which all serve to tempt us to leave the path that God has set for us to run on, to find an alternative route to avoid the circumstances.

It also represents the harder course corrections that are coming to the corporate church and to the nations, and the Lord wants His people to prophetically see afar off, to understand the Lord's intentions for us through them, and to let Him in, so He can guide them through the days ahead. The Lord is bringing us through this current preparatory period we are all in now, to cause us to grow up from spiritual infancy, into really mature manhood in Him, so that we can be wise, strong, and unmovable and unshakeable in the years to come, and become the wise leaders to help many navigate through the changes over the next years that we are earmarked to go through, until we are all transformed, so we can fully bring forth His Harvest from across the face of the earth. I feel that the Lord is showing that the horse and the fawn speak of a year and a half period of grace, or preparation till the hard things hit fully, even though they will progressively prune us/glorify us over that time.  (The rest of 2013, and through 2014.) What we do by then will determine where we are, and where the church is, in 2015

Zechariah 1:8 I saw in the night [vision] and behold, a Man riding upon a red horse, and He stood among the myrtle trees that were in a low valley or bottom, and behind Him there were horses, red, bay or flame-colored, and white. 9 Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel who talked with me said, I will show you what these are. 10 And the Man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro through the earth and patrol it. 11 And the men on the horses answered the Angel of the Lord Who stood among the myrtle trees and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth [patrolling it] and behold, all the earth sits at rest [in peaceful security].

2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Dust storm:

Ephesians 4:12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church), 13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. 14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

Vision #2:   07-21-13:

Patrick and I are driving to a friends house in California where we are going to be speaking. We pull into their drive to go to their driveway, and it is fenced on both side with chain linked fencing, and the drive is hard to navigate because it has sharp turns and hard right angles, so we eventually navigate them and try to turn around to face back towards the road when we will leave later. We eventually do after much shifting around with the car. We walk into the house, and I knew it was Y....'s house. They had sold their larger house, and had moved to California and were now living in this smaller house. It was very beautiful inside, and felt so welcoming. I had a dress in my hand to wear for the meeting that night, and I was looking for a place to hang it. I looked and it was my wedding dress, and it was all golden. The layered fabric was all gold, the embellishments were gold, and the jewels were gold. It was beautiful. The vision ends.

Our lives course and purpose is often viewed through our driving our vehicles on a road. Our friend's house represents the church. The Lord is bringing a course change and a reduction into her to cause her to be more fruitful in Him, a pruning season if you will. We are being brought through a corrective phase to bring us into full maturity which will cause us to be even more glorious and efficient for Him. He wants all the crooked areas made straight in our lives and walks. We have our dress, or our covenant with God, because we are His People that walk with Him. But what He is doing is turning us into gold, or Holy Vessels, in this season. Gold is our faith that is being perfected through pressure, through fire, or fiery trials and circumstances. The Lord is looking for a place to hang that dress. He is looking for those who will embrace Him within the pruning's, the dealings, the pressures, and surrender fully to the preparatory phase to take on His Golden Nature from within, that will be seen as radiance from without. If we try to escape or run from it, we will find ourselves without that needed glorification inside and out. He is coming to beauty and glorify His Bride, so that he can be seen through her.

It also speaks again, of the need to realign things that are out of order or crooked in our lives, so that our walks and talks will be more fruitful. So some of us are finding that we are having to get rid of the more costly or inefficient things in our lives, even streamlining in the financial areas to reign in our debt loads, or curb our spending habits, so that we will be able to navigate fluidly the coming global economic pruning's ahead. The Lord is bringing the church through a necessary phase of evaluation, so we can each look at where we are, at what we are doing, to know why we are doing what we do, and to who or what are we looking to for our source. These things are necessary to bring us into a fuller relationship with Him, and a deeper dependence upon Him, but to also free us of unnecessary spiritual and natural baggage that will be cumbersome to us in the years ahead. When we yield our wills fully to His, we find a greater Source flowing in and out of us, which will also liberate the church, and launch her out to where she is truly needed right now, into the fields of the earth.

The House:

Joshua 6:19 But all the silver and gold and vessels of bronze and iron are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.

Revelations 1:13 And in the midst of the lampstands [One] like a Son of Man, clothed with a robe which reached to His feet and with a girdle of gold about His breast.

1 Peter 1:7 So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.

Revelations 21:2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified and adorned for her husband;

The Driveway:

Isaiah 40:3 A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord [clear away the obstacles]; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God! 4 Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. 5 And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Isaiah 45:1 THUS SAYS the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him, and I will unarm and ungird the loins of kings to open doors before him, so that gates will not be shut. 2 I will go before you and level the mountains [to make the crooked places straight]; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut asunder the bars of iron. 3 And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.

Song of Solomon 8:5 Who is this who comes up from the wilderness leaning upon her beloved? [And as they sighted the home of her childhood, the bride said] Under the apple tree I awakened you; there your mother gave you birth, there she was in travail and bore you.

Podcast: Our Spirit-Soul-Body Process of Maturity

Our Spirit-Soul-Body Process of Maturity
We are learning to be a whole vessel, complete in Christ. This process takes faith. This Journey is a lifestyle of walking in the Light. We will dig into how the Light/Life of God transforms our Spirit, our Soul, and our Body; making us into a Vibrant, Healthy, Living Vessel that God can express Himself through!

Our newest podcast:

The Chart we used in the meeting can be found here:

The Scriptures we used during the meeting:

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life.

Hebrews 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

1 Corinthians 2:1 AS FOR myself, brethren, when I came to you, I did not come proclaiming to you the testimony and evidence or mystery and secret of God [concerning what He has done through Christ for the salvation of men] in lofty words of eloquence or human philosophy and wisdom; 2 For I resolved to know nothing (to be acquainted with nothing, to make a display of the knowledge of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing) among you except Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and Him crucified.

Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, Whom I serve with my [whole] spirit [rendering priestly and spiritual service] in [preaching] the Gospel and [telling] the good news of His Son, how incessantly I always mention you when at my prayers.

2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God Whom I worship with a pure conscience, in the spirit of my fathers, when without ceasing I remember you night and day in my prayers,

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

1 Chronicles 28:9 And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts and minds and understands all the wanderings of the thoughts.

Psalms 73:7 Their eyes stand out with fatness, they have more than heart could wish; and the imaginations of their minds overflow [with follies].

Ecclesiastes 1:16 I entered into counsel with my own mind, saying, Behold, I have acquired great [human] wisdom, yes, more than all who have been over Jerusalem before me; and my mind has had great experience of [moral] wisdom and [scientific] knowledge.

1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Romans 6:19 I am speaking in familiar human terms because of your natural limitations. For as you yielded your bodily members [and [faculties] as servants to impurity and ever increasing lawlessness, so now yield your bodily members [and faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness (right being and doing) [which leads] to sanctification.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Samuel 3:1 NOW THE boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. The word of the Lord was rare and precious in those days; there was no frequent or widely spread vision. 2 At that time Eli, whose eyesight had dimmed so that he could not see, was lying down in his own place.

3 The lamp of God had not yet gone out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was lying down. 4 When the Lord called, Samuel! And he answered, Here I am. 5 He ran to Eli and said, Here I am, for you called me. Eli said, I did not call you; lie down again. So he went and lay down.

6 And the Lord called again, Samuel! And Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, Here am I; you did call me. Eli answered, I did not call, my son; lie down again. 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord was not yet revealed to him.

8 And the Lord called Samuel the third time. And he went to Eli and said, Here I am, for you did call me. Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy. 9 So Eli said to Samuel, Go, lie down. And if He calls you, you shall say, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10 And the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, Samuel! Samuel! Then Samuel answered, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.

11 The Lord told Samuel, Behold, I am about to do a thing in Israel at which both ears of all who hear it shall tingle. 12 On that day I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. 13 And I [now] announce to him that I will judge and punish his house forever for the iniquity of which he knew, for his sons were bringing a curse upon themselves [blaspheming God], and he did not restrain them. 14 Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be atoned for or purged with sacrifice or offering forever.

FOUR denotes the FORMING of a DOOR, or the forming an AVENUE for the dispensing of Revelation, Truth, and Judgment to flow through: Whoever hears Him saying, Come up here, and goes, receives the revelation or mantle to speak His Words/Judgments to the earth. The Lord is revealing to those that can hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches, that He is going to deal with the affairs of men, and He is also going to bring great changes to the systems and structures that men have birthed, and have ruled wickedly from. It is time for His true meat, His true judgment, and for real justice be dispensed from the House of the Lord again to the people. All that can hear and who draw near to God in this hour, will be taught by Jesus, and trained by the Lord to speak for Him to the people, to bring the changes that He wants.

15 Samuel lay until morning; then he opened the doors of the Lord's house. And [he] was afraid to tell the vision to Eli. 16 But Eli called Samuel and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here I am. 17 Eli said, What is it He told you? Pray do not hide it from me. May God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all that He said to you. 18 And Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing. And Eli said, It is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him. 19 Samuel grew; the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. 20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the Lord. 21 And the Lord continued to appear in Shiloh, for the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh through the word of the Lord.

Part Two:

Luke 24:1 BUT ON the first day of the week, at early dawn, [the women] went to the tomb, taking the spices which they had made ready. 2 And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb, 3 But when they went inside, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And while they were perplexed and wondering what to do about this, behold, two men in dazzling raiment suddenly stood beside them. 5 And as [the women] were frightened and were bowing their faces to the ground, the men said to them, Why do you look for the living among [those who are] dead, 6 He is not here, but has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee 7 That the Son of Man must be given over into the hands of sinful men (men whose way or nature is to act in opposition to God) and be crucified and on the third day rise [from death]. 8 And they remembered His words.

9 And having returned from the tomb, they reported all these things [taken together] to the eleven apostles and to all the rest. 10 Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who reported these things to the apostles. 11 But these reports seemed to the men an idle tale (madness, feigned things, nonsense), and they did not believe the women. 12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb; and stooping down and looking in, he saw the linen cloths alone by themselves, and he went away, wondering about and marveling at what had happened. 13 And behold, that very day two of [the disciples] were going to a village called Emmaus, [which is] about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 And they were talking with each other about all these things that had occurred. 15 And while they were conversing and discussing together, Jesus Himself caught up with them and was already accompanying them. 16 But their eyes were held, so that they did not recognize Him.

17 And He said to them, What is this discussion that you are exchanging (throwing back and forth) between yourselves as you walk along? And they stood still, looking sad and downcast. 18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered Him, Do you alone dwell as a stranger in Jerusalem and not know the things that have occurred there in these days? 19 And He said to them, What [kind of ] things? And they said to Him, About Jesus of Nazareth, Who was a Prophet mighty in work and word before God and all the people-- 20 And how our chief priests and rulers gave Him up to be sentenced to death, and crucified Him. 21 But we were hoping that it was He Who would redeem and set Israel free. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things occurred. 22 And moreover, some women of our company astounded us and drove us out of our senses. They were at the tomb early [in the morning] 23 But did not find His body; and they returned saying that they had [even] seen a vision of angels, who said that He was alive! 24 So some of those [who were] with us went to the tomb and they found it just as the women had said, but Him they did not see. 25 And [Jesus] said to them, O foolish ones [sluggish in mind, dull of perception] and slow of heart to believe (adhere to and trust in and rely on) everything that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary and essentially fitting that the Christ (the Messiah) should suffer all these things before entering into His glory (His majesty and splendor)? 27Then beginning with Moses and [throughout] all the Prophets, He went on explaining and interpreting to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning and referring to Himself. 28 Then they drew near the village to which they were going, and He acted as if He would go further. 29 But they urged and insisted, saying to Him, Remain with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. So He went in to stay with them. 30 And it occurred that as He reclined at table with them, He took [a loaf of] bread and praised [God] and gave thanks and asked a blessing, and then broke it and was giving it to them 31 When their eyes were [instantly] opened and they [clearly] recognized Him, and He vanished (departed invisibly). 32 And they said to one another, Were not our hearts greatly moved and burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and as He opened and explained to us [the sense of] the Scriptures?

33 And rising up that very hour, they went back to Jerusalem, where they found the Eleven [apostles] gathered together and those who were with them, 34 Who said, The Lord really has risen and has appeared to Simon (Peter)! 35 Then they [themselves] related [in full] what had happened on the road, and how He was known and recognized by them in the breaking of bread.

36 Now while they were talking about this, Jesus Himself took His stand among them and said to them, Peace (freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin) be to you! 37 But they were so startled and terrified that they thought they saw a spirit. 38 And He said to them, Why are you disturbed and troubled, and why do such doubts and questionings arise in your hearts? 39 See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself! Feel and handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have. 40 And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41 And while [since] they still could not believe it for sheer joy and marveled, He said to them, Have you anything here to eat? 42 They gave Him a piece of broiled fish, 43 And He took [it] and ate [it] before them. 44 Then He said to them, This is what I told you while I was still with you: everything which is written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled. 45 Then He [thoroughly] opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures,

46  And said to them, Thus it is written that the Christ (the Messiah) should suffer and on the third day rise from (among) the dead, 47 And that repentance [with a view to and as the condition of] forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high. 50 Then He conducted them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up His hands, He invoked a blessing on them.

THE DOOR OPENS, JESUS GOES UP:

51 And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven. 52 And they, worshiping Him, went back to Jerusalem with great joy; 53 And they were continually in the temple celebrating with praises and blessing and extolling God. Amen (so be it).

                                                                                Part Three:

Acts 1:1 IN THE former account [which I prepared], O Theophilus, I made [a continuous report] dealing with all the things which Jesus began to do and to teach 2 Until the day when He ascended, after He through the Holy Spirit had instructed and commanded the apostles (special messengers) whom He had chosen. 3 To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God.

40- (TESTING, JUDGEMENT, CROSSING OVER )

4 And while being in their company and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak. 5 For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit. 6 So when they were assembled, they asked Him, Lord, is this the time when You will reestablish the kingdom and restore it to Israel? 7 He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with and know what time brings [the things and events of time and their definite periods] or fixed years and seasons (their critical niche in time), which the Father has appointed (fixed and reserved) by His own choice and authority and personal power.  8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. 9 And when He had said this, even as they were looking [at Him], He was caught up, and a cloud received and carried Him away out of their sight.

10 And while they were gazing intently into heaven as He went, behold, two men [dressed] in white robes suddenly stood beside them, 11 Who said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into heaven? This same Jesus, Who was caught away and lifted up from among you into heaven, will return in [just] the same way in which you saw Him go into heaven. 12 Then [the disciples] went back to Jerusalem from the hill called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, [only] a Sabbath day's journey (three-quarters of a mile) away. 13 And when they had entered [the city], they mounted [the stairs] to the upper room where they were [indefinitely] staying--Peter and John and James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas [son] of James. 14 All of these with their minds in full agreement devoted themselves steadfastly to prayer, [waiting together] with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. 15 Now on one of those days Peter arose among the brethren, the whole number of whom gathered together was about a hundred and twenty.

                                                                                  Part Four:

Acts 2:1 AND WHEN the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place, 2 When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting.

3 And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].

5 Now there were then residing in Jerusalem Jews, devout and God-fearing men from every country under heaven. 6 And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together and they were astonished and bewildered, because each one heard them [the apostles] speaking in his own [particular] dialect. 7 And they were beside themselves with amazement, saying, Are not all these who are talking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that we hear, each of us, in our own (particular) dialect to which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and [the province of] Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and the transient residents from Rome, both Jews and the proselytes [to Judaism from other religions], 11 Cretans and Arabians too--we all hear them speaking in our own native tongues [and telling of] the mighty works of God! 12 And all were beside themselves with amazement and were puzzled and bewildered, saying one to another, What can this mean? 13 But others made a joke of it and derisively said, They are simply drunk and full of sweet [intoxicating] wine. 14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them: You Jews and all you residents of Jerusalem, let this be [explained] to you so that you will know and understand; listen closely to what I have to say. 15 For these men are not drunk, as you imagine, for it is [only] the third hour (about 9:00 a.m.) of the day;

                                              (THREE)  THE TRANSFORMATION PROCESS BEGINS

16 But [instead] this is [the beginning of] what was spoken through the prophet Joel: 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams. 18 Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God's kingdom]. 19 And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire and smoking vapor; 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the obvious day of the Lord comes--that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day]. 21 And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord--Christ] shall be saved.  22 You men of Israel, listen to what I have to say: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man accredited and pointed out and shown forth and commended and attested to you by God by the mighty works and [the power of performing] wonders and signs which God worked through Him [right] in your midst, as you yourselves know--23 This Jesus, when delivered up according to the definite and fixed purpose and settled plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and put out of the way [killing Him] by the hands of lawless and wicked men, 24 [But] God raised Him up, liberating Him from the pangs of death, seeing that it was not possible for Him to continue to be controlled or retained by it. 25 For David says in regard to Him, I saw the Lord constantly before me, for He is at my right hand that I may not be shaken or overthrown or cast down [from my secure and happy state].
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted exceedingly; moreover, my flesh also will dwell in hope [will encamp, pitch its tent, and dwell in hope in anticipation of the resurrection]. 27 For You will not abandon my soul, leaving it helpless in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor let Your Holy One know decay or see destruction [of the body after death]. 28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You will enrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence. 29 Brethren, it is permitted me to tell you confidently and with freedom concerning the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Being however a prophet, and knowing that God had sealed to him with an oath that He would set one of his descendants on his throne, [II Sam. 7:12-16; Ps. 132:11.] 31 He, foreseeing this, spoke [by foreknowledge] of the resurrection of the Christ (the Messiah) that He was not deserted [in death] and left in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor did His body know decay or see destruction. 32 This Jesus God raised up, and of that all we [His disciples] are witnesses. 33 Being therefore lifted high by and to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promised [blessing which is the] Holy Spirit, He has made this outpouring which you yourselves both see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend into the heavens; yet he himself says, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand and share My throne 35 Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.  36 Therefore let the whole house of Israel recognize beyond all doubt and acknowledge assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ (the Messiah)--this Jesus Whom you crucified.

37 Now when they heard this they were stung (cut) to the heart, and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles (special messengers), Brethren, what shall we do? 38 And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself.  40 And [Peter] solemnly and earnestly witnessed (testified) and admonished (exhorted) with much more continuous speaking and warned (reproved, advised, encouraged) them, saying, Be saved from this crooked (perverse, wicked, unjust) generation.

                                 AND GAVE MEN LIVING BREAD

41 Therefore those who accepted and welcomed his message were baptized, and there were added that day about 3,000 souls. 42 And they steadfastly persevered, devoting themselves constantly to the instruction and fellowship of the apostles, to the breaking of bread [including the Lord's Supper] and prayers. 43 And a sense of awe (reverential fear) came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were performed through the apostles (the special messengers). 44 And all who believed (who adhered to and trusted in and relied on Jesus Christ) were united and [together] they had everything in common; 45 And they sold their possessions (both their landed property and their movable goods) and distributed the price among all, according as any had need, 46 And day after day they regularly assembled in the temple with united purpose, and in their homes they broke bread [including the Lord's Supper]. They partook of their food with gladness and simplicity and generous hearts, 47 Constantly praising God and being in favor and goodwill with all the people; and the Lord kept adding [to their number] daily those who were being saved [from spiritual death].
