The Heavy Weight of Glory Vision 07-22-12
During the worship time of
our conference, I saw a vision of the earth. It was suspended in the heavens
and a great angel stood on it and he was about 3 times the height of the earth.
He had a white tunic on, and golden armor on over that, and he had golden skin,
and blonde hair, and a golden sword. He had both hands on his sword and had his
arms semi-raised with the point of the tip of the sword pointed upwards over
his head. He stood looking at me and also was waiting for something. Then I saw
him look upwards, and as he did, my eyes followed his gaze too. I saw something
descending. It was as wide as the heavens in my view, and was descending
slowly. It was as if something was lowering that looked like a bulging fabric
or membrane. It got heavier and heavier and as it did it came down lower and
lower till it had hung just above the angel with his sword drawn. It looked
like a huge bag that was about to burst upon the angel at any moment, but the
angel was not concerned at all. He just stood at attention and waited.
Then, as
if on cue, he raised the sword till the tip touched the heavy material and he
suddenly thrust it through with his sword with a great cry. Then it split at
the swords penetration point and ripped all the way across from the very weight
of the bulge. The fabric released a deluge of golden liquid that poured down
over the angel violently and then down over the earth. The angel did not mind,
but stayed at attention as it ran down him and onto the earth. The deluge of
golden liquid was thick and had a strong fragrance. It was so powerful that as
it touched the earth itself, the earth shook and was moved by it's arrival. The
oil quickly covered the earth in it's flow. When all of the golden oil was poured
out from the heavy laden fabric, the fabric then rose back up to heaven. The
angel then nodded and lowered his hands and sword. He smiled and then he was
gone. The earth was covered in the Glory of the Lord and was shaking and moving
underneath the oil. -The vision ended.
2 Corinthians 4:16 For which
cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is
renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a
moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of
glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the
things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. KJV
AMP: 17 For our light, momentary affliction (this
slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing
and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all
measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast
and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],
ESV: 17 For this light momentary affliction is
preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
NLT: 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t
last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and
will last forever!
YLT: 17 for the momentary light matter of our
tribulation, more and more exceedingly an age-during weight of glory doth work
out for us
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this
present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to
us.
1 Peter 1:5 who by God’s power are being guarded
through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Psalms 92:10 But my horn (emblem of excessive strength
and stately grace) You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with
fresh oil.
Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the
presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with (fresh) oil; my [brimming] cup
runs over.
Isaiah 1:6 From the sole of the foot even to the head
there is no soundness or health in [the nation's body]--but wounds and bruises
and fresh and bleeding stripes; they have not been pressed out and closed up or
bound up or softened with oil. [No one has troubled to seek a remedy.]
Psalms 133:1 BEHOLD, HOW good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious (oil)
ointment poured on the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of
Aaron [the first high priest], that came down upon the collar and skirts of his
garments [consecrating the whole body]. 3 It is like the dew of [lofty] Mount
Hermon and the dew that comes on the hills of Zion; for there the Lord has commanded the
blessing, even life forevermore [upon the high and the lowly].
Proverbs 19:12 The king's wrath is as terrifying as
the roaring of a lion, but his favor is as [refreshing as] dew (oil) upon the
grass.
Micah 5:7 Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the
midst of many peoples like dew from the Lord, like showers upon the grass which
[come suddenly and] tarry not for man nor wait for the sons of men.
Hosea 14:5 I will be like the dew and the night mist
to Israel; he shall grow and
blossom like the lily and cast forth his roots like [the sturdy evergreens of] Lebanon.
Psalms 110:3 Your people will offer themselves
willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array
out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who
are as the dew.

Then I found Elaine's word from 7-14-12:
Jesus
told a parable about ten virgins. Five of them were wise and kept oil in
their lamps and the other five were foolish because they didn't continually
refill their lamps with oil each time it ran out. They were wearied from
waiting for their bridegroom to come. Oil speaks as a metaphor of the Holy
Spirit. Many Christians are getting tired of waiting because they don't sense
God moving in their lives. They have been waiting for God to visit them once
again but not experiencing this. Some even feel as if the glory has
departed (Ichabod) from their lives. Jesus wants you to know that He did
not leave you and He wants to release His fresh oil back into your life.
The
Lord would say to you, come unto Me and I will release My glory once again. I
will anoint those dry areas with My fresh oil. Allow Me to lubricate that which
has become dry and brittle. Allow Me to breathe upon and resuscitate those
things in your life that have deceased. Don't be disheartened because these
things will come back to life as I pour My anointing into them. I will
replenish those areas that have been dehydrated and desolate and revive the
areas that have been barren. Throw off the weight of discouragement. Surely I
will move once again in a mighty way in your midst. This dry spell will cease
and My glory will bring refreshing upon you and wash away all burdens. I will
visit you in your quiet time. I will release My glory in your prayer time. I
will release revelation in your study time.
You
have been standing on My word, believing for something for a long time. Don't
give up now. You have been faithful through difficult times, and stood
steadfast through the fiery trials. Don't retreat, for I am right at the
door. Don't be disillusioned to believe the lies of the enemy. You will
come back stronger than you were before. Surrender yourself to Me and allow Me
to fill you once again. Do not be afraid of the darkness, for you will surely
see My Glory accelerate beyond what you have ever known. Do not become stagnant
but trust Me and know that I will do as I promised. As you submit yourselves to
Me once again, you will no longer suffer from this spiritual famine, but you
will be filled to overflowing with fresh oil says the Lord.
Proverbs 21:20
There
is desirable treasure, and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man
squanders it.
Psalm 92:10
But
my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.
Matthew 25: 1-12
"Then
the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and
went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were
foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but
the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom
was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard:
'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; out to meet him!' Then all those
virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise,
'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise
answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go
rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' And while they went to
buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the
wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying,
'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I
do not know you.
