The Garden
of Intimacy and the
Waterfall of Surrender Experience 12-17-13
A recurring vision over two
days: I am walking upon rich green grasses with my bare feet. The grass pokes
through my toes. My gown covers me down to my ankles, but I can feel the grass
as I walk flowing all the way up my being. Everything here radiates life. My
spirit soars as I walked, for I love to walk in these heavenly places! As I
walked, I felt such a longing well up in my heart for more of Jesus. My steps
quickened as I anticipated His coming, and I turned and walked through a few
low lying trees that were to my left. As I walked through the alcove that their
branches created, I came upon a beautiful sight.
This was a whole new area of
the garden I had not been to before. The colors here seemed to radiate out of
the flowers, and their heavy fragrances almost lifted me off of my feet. I felt
so light! The air was thickening all around me, and I looked around in wonder.
There were dancing poppies in the gentle breezes smiling up at me with their
happy petals. Tulips and daisies, and even sunflowers and orchids were moving stately.
What a wonderful exotic mix!, I thought! I stroked the nearest sunflower with
my hand and its seeds seemed to light up even more when I did. I could walk
here forever!, I thought.
"Yes you can," said
a voice. "Lord", I breathed, and whirled around in delight! He had
been watching me for awhile, and was leaning against one of the low lying
trees. He laughed and came and took my hands. "What do you think of this
place?", He asked. I think it is beautiful!, I grinned. He said, "It
is beautiful. It is new too. It was just completed by you." Stunned, I
said, "I don't remember making this garden!" He turned and walked to
where the low lying trees were bunched together, and there was a large flat stone
there and the lowest branches swept around the stone in such a way as if to
invite us to sit there. He sat down, and I sat next to Him. He pulled me close
enough to look into His eyes, and He said:
"Every time you release more
of your heart to Me in love and devotion, you are creating something with your
love. You know that this garden is your heart. Your garden will always be
changing, growing, and enlarging as your walk with Me continues. Remember, all
things are created by love, and everything operates by love. My Love is the
life force of all. So, when you spend time with Me, you are creating for Me, and
with Me. As you learn to love, you also learn to create. For you cannot do the
one without the other, for Life loves, and love is the life-force of Life. My
Life that I shed, also revealed My Love for you, which brings you into the
knowledge and experience of My Love, and you are learning to flow in that Love
and Life, as you walk with Me. I also partake of that same love that you create
when you think of Me, and also come to Me."
"I have taught you many
things in your garden before, but I have a treat for you today. I want to show
you something special that is a joy to My heart." He then got up, and He
led me down between the low lying trees, over onto a narrow trail. We walked
for a few minutes, and you could hear the birds singing as we walked. They
would flutter their wings above our heads and merrily dive their little bodies above
us to the lilting of their own songs. Jesus laughed at their display. My own
heart was stirred as I watched them too. Jesus then turned to Me squeezing my
hand, He said, "They are a reflection of you. What they reveal is what you
created them to reveal. This was in your heart to display for Me. Your love is
flying, and lilting, and fluttering, and singing to Me in this way, because you
made them for Me. I love the way your heart delights in Me, Susan." When
he said that, my heart stopped for a moment, and all of the blood rushed up
into my ears!
Jesus laughed, and pulled me further
down the trail with Him. As we walked, I felt a rumbling vibration coming from
the ground. I then realized that I could hear a waterfall! I loved waterfalls!
I gripped His hand tighter, and we both ran up a narrow incline that opened up into
a large, lush, tropical haven! Oh, what a sight! There were tall banana trees, tons
of exotic flowers, and even beautiful berries of every type growing in bushy clusters
all over. In the midst of it all was a 15 ft waterfall that fell loudly over
these large exquisite rocks that were jutting out and overhanging this area of
the garden. Just listening to the sound of the pouring water was so
invigorating, I suddenly felt like shouting! The Lord seemed to enjoy watching
me as I viewed this part of the garden with Him. He had sat down by some
clusters of berries and was eating them, while I inspected everything.
I then became aware of a
thickening stillness settling in all around us, as if a fog was coming in. I
turned around, realizing that I had forgotten Him in my inquisitiveness. When I
saw Him, it wasn't a fog at all, but everything had slowed down to a slow
motion state, like being in a mist within a dimensional bubble. As I looked at
Him, our eyes met, and He then radiated with every color, and the whole
atmosphere was filled with Him! I could only look at Him and cry. Then,
everything went back to normal, and yet, the heavy dew of His Presence still remained
around us. He motioned for Me to come and sit by Him. I walked over to Him, and
the sounds of the pounding waters of the waterfall seemed to wrap themselves
around us.
He said, "This waterfall
represents your surrender to Me. Every time you give Me a portion of your love,
your garden grows. The more that you surrender to Me your will, and your life,
then your love will also grow and pour like this waterfall does. The more you
surrender to Me, the more clearer that you will also see, for your heart sees
to the degree that your heart is fully given to Me. I see your desire, and I
also love the way you surrender yourself to Me. But I wanted you to see the
fruits of your surrender, so that you would remember. Surrender is never
without cost, but it is also rich with fruitfulness and rewards as well. This
waterfall represents the degree that you have surrendered to Me, and it's
quality mirrors your inner reflection of Me. This is what I desire from each of
My Children, a fully surrendered and sincere heart. This is what pleases Me
most. This is where I delight in your love the deepest. Thank you for this
offering to Me."
As He was speaking, my heart
was pounding as much as the waterfall was pounding, yet I could still hear Him
distinctly. I could feel His very words flowing into my heart, and I wanted to
give Him even more of My heart! I could no longer hold it in, and I blurted out,
"Lord, I want to give you my entire heart! I want to take it out, and hand
it to you, for you to keep it for yourself, as an offering to you! I want it to
fully be given unto you! Would you take it, and give me a new heart, so that I
can learn to love you even more? I want you to fully possess Me!" I was
weeping hard now and could not even see, but I felt His hands grip my
shoulders, and He turned me to look at Him again. His eyes blazed with fire,
and He said, "That is always My desire! I will receive whatever you offer
Me, and I desire to possess you completely!"
When He said that, His hands
went right into My heart and burned it with fire. Fire shot throughout my
being, and it coursed through my very veins! He then began massaging it until
it was like new. As he did, the very colors He had radiated earlier flowed out
of His hands into my heart, and my heart surged with new strength like never
before! I could feel the colors swirling around within me, so that I shook from
head to toe. He just laughed and let me go. He nodded in satisfaction. "That's
better," He said, Everything that is Mine, becomes like Me. To the degree
that you allow Me to be formed within you, and to the degree that you walk in
obedience to Me, is the degree that you will be like Me. I want you to flow freely
like this waterfall continuously. My Life and Love were meant to flow freely.
This waterfall is also a picture of your heart. Everything here is. This is the
garden that you have made for Me within your heart, to walk with Me in."
"I also desire that the
same way that you walk with Me here, is the same way that you walk among men. I
want a People who walk transparently everywhere they go, that will release My
Love's flow and show who I am to all they will meet. What I have done through
your life, is also what I have been doing through many of Mine who have been
prepared by Me. But now, I am going to come forth out of you all with a new visibility.
I want to release a new display of My Love, to all who are hungry and thirsty
for the knowledge of Me. It is through your lives that I am seen. It is through
your deeds and actions that I am also known. I want waterfalls of My Love pouring
everywhere. I want Habitations of Intimacy grown everywhere for men to come to,
and to also learn to eat of, and to be satisfied within, all over the earth. I
am showing you this in this way, to show you what My Love can do. I can heal and
transform all things, and I especially want it to flow through you."
"I want faith to rise
within the hearts and minds of My People again. I want your hearts stirred with
love and compassion within. I want you to simply give yourself to Me. I just
want you. I want My People. I want My Creation. As you give yourself liberally,
then I can flow liberally. But you have to surrender all to Me, and let Me
inhabit you fully in every degree, and then you can reveal the fullest measure
of the expression of Me! That is why you are here today. As men see nothing but
the darkness all around themselves, it is only a reflection of what lies within
them. What you see reflects what is within you. When I am within you, then you
see through Me, and you see My Light, and I am in all things. This generation
is still under My Rainbow, so all men can still come to know Me, and to develop
this intimacy with Me. This also can transform all that you currently know. This
is what is coming your way, and this what I am going to do in your day. I am on
the move in the earth, and I am going to flow powerfully through all that will
give Me birth! Now go, and let your heart soar higher in Me, and I will show
you the things that I see, and you will also do it all with Me!" - The end
of the encounter.....

seclusion, Where you keep company with lions and panthers guard your safety.
You've captured my heart, dear
friend. You looked at me, and I fell in love. One look my way and I was
hopelessly in love! How beautiful your love, dear, dear friend— far more
pleasing than a fine, rare wine, your fragrance more exotic than select spices.
The kisses of your lips are honey, my love, every syllable you speak a delicacy
to savor. Your clothes smell like the wild outdoors, the ozone scent of high
mountains. Dear lover and friend, you're a secret garden, a private and pure fountain. Body and soul, you are
paradise, a whole orchard of succulent fruits— Ripe apricots and peaches,
oranges and pears; Nut trees and cinnamon, and all scented woods; Mint and
lavender, and all herbs aromatic; A garden
fountain, sparkling and splashing, fed by spring waters from the Lebanon mountains. TM
