2017: “We Are Ascending Into the Transformation of our Lives and of the Nations”


Patrick and Susan share many insights and prophetic encounters the Lord gave them for the Year 2017, as well as understanding for the Years 2016-2019. It is vital that we remain in the Rest of God, seated in our places as we transcend the turbulence of the Winds of Change in order to see what the Lord has waiting for us all above the cloudline. Its going to be a remarkable and notable year for those who will rest and trust in Him who works out all of our scrolls.

Two weeks ago as I was opening our service at SOG, I was taken into a vision, which is panoramic for where we are all at right now as individuals and as a nation. I saw us all sitting strapped into our seats in an airplane and we were all rising from the ground level into the air and we were about to go through the clouds. 

I knew that as we entered the clouds, that there would be turbulence in the transition as the Winds of Change were in the clouds. As we enter the clouds, the turbulence will be sudden and swift.

The purpose of the turbulence we are about to go through is to remove any remaining baggage and residue that is left from our leaving the lower levels. It is also to force us to trust in the care and wisdom of God as He brings us all through the transition phase we are currently in.

Ecclesiastes 3:10 I have seen the painful labor and exertion and miserable business which God has given to the sons of men with which to exercise and busy themselves. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to be glad and to get and do good as long as they live;

Hebrews 12:27 Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken—that is, of that which has been created—in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. 28 Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe;

We have all left the point of no return, and have now begun our corporate ascent into the greater plans and purposes that the Father has for us all. The only place to go is up. We have to rise above everything in order to get a clearer view of the things ahead of us, which will be seen when we emerge above the clouds of change. 

The Lord has chosen to bring us into a new place, and it is in our best interest to cooperate with His process and remain seated in our seats, the place of trust and rest in Him, and let Him have His way through the ascent process. If we try to leave our seat, we will get knocked around in the turbulence and could have a tough time in the process. This transition process is the Lord and we are not to fear at all.

It is the Lord’s intention to clear up the messes that have been made below so to speak, so that we can have a clear view of the things that are true, and the things that are right and that are available to us in this generation, so that we can make good choices ahead, and to also choose the better way as a nation.

Mark 8:34 And Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me]. 35 For whoever wants to save his [higher, spiritual, eternal] life, will lose it [the lower, natural, temporal life which is lived only on earth]; and whoever gives up his life [which is lived only on earth] for My sake and the Gospel’s will save it [his higher, spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God]. 36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?

Luke 17:21 Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].

Matthew 10:38 And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me. 39 Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].

So He is going to bring us through this turbulent season ahead, and we will have the opportunity to choose to agree with the higher way that He has for us individually and as a nation. This means that we must trust in His ways and let things shake and fall where they will. Everything has to go in order for us to know the way to go.

He knows what is best for us all, and He is also the pilot flying our plane. We can trust that we will arrive at the destination that He has for us all, and we will all be spiritually healthier and stronger for it. These are the days of Transformation and the Ascension has only just begun.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

We must settle it in our hearts and minds to just remain in flight, rest in His care, knowing that the winds are for us and not against us. Even though you cant see as you are passing through the cloud barriers, we are to know that He sees, and He sees what we don’t see! We have to trust, and rest in His Wisdom as we move upwards into His purposes.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon. 8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Proverbs 3:5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

(Which means - the leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness.)

He knows the future, and has it all planned out for us individually and as a nation. He wrote our scrolls, and He knows exactly how they will unroll. We will have a much clearer view as we pass through this time. We will arrive and we will all be right on His time!

Ephesians 1:9 Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him, 10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. 11 In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,

Would that you were cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth! 17 For you say, I am rich; I have prospered and  grown wealthy, and I am in need of nothing; and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see. 19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. 21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne. 22 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).

*** Being Lukewarm:

It is not just having a cold or stony heart, but it is also being a hearer but not a doer of His words.

(2016 and 2017: Jubilee Years and Double Doors)

Think about “Doors”:

1. They open and close things                                                            

2. They end and begin things                                                            

3. They are for markers and signs of cycles and seasons                

Natural signs of the spiritual exchanges for the purpose of realigning the nations for harvest:

1. Changing of leadership roles/seats   

2. Changing of laws and of mindsets for harvest

3. Changing of borders/boundaries 

The timing and significance of the “double doors”: 

“Eating the Books to prophesy to the nations for transformation!”

Revelations 10:10 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, robed in a cloud, with a [halo like a] rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet (legs) were like columns of fire. 2 He had a little book (scroll) open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 And he shouted with a loud voice like the roaring of a lion; and when he had shouted, the seven thunders gave voice and uttered their message in distinct words. 4 And when the seven thunders had spoken (sounded), I was going to write [it down], but I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders have said! Do not write it down! 5 Then the [mighty] angel whom I had seen stationed on sea and land raised his right hand to heaven (the [sky), 6 And swore in the name of (by) Him Who lives forever and ever, Who created the heavens ([sky) and all they contain, and the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains. [He swore] that no more time should intervene and there should be no more waiting or delay, 7 But that when the days come when the trumpet call of the seventh angel is about to be sounded, then God’s mystery (His secret design, His hidden purpose), as He had announced the glad tidings to His servants the prophets, should be fulfilled (accomplished, completed). 8 Then the voice that I heard from heaven spoke again to me, saying, Go and take the little book (scroll) which is open on the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land. 9 So I went up to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it. It will embitter your stomach, though in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey. 10 So I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate and swallowed it; it was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but once I had swallowed it, my stomach was embittered. 11 Then they said to me, You are to make a fresh prophecy concerning many peoples and races and nations and languages and kings.

Embittered means: to be indignant, angry, bitter, but also to be burdened, grieved, sobered, and a realization of the weight of responsibility of leadership.

2 Chronicles 1:8 And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy and loving-kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place. 9 Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be fulfilled, for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. 10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this Your people who are so great? 11 God replied to Solomon, Because this was in your heart and you have not asked for riches, possessions, honor, and glory, or the life of your foes, or even for long life, but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may rule and judge My people over whom I have made you king, 12 Wisdom and knowledge are granted you. And I will give you riches, possessions, honor, and glory, such as none of the kings had before you, and none after you shall have their equal.
